One little kindness adventure is a lovely place to begin.

Opening your Passport…

  1. Day 1

    Send a Smile

With a parent, grandparent, sibling or friend, draw a cheerful picture for someone you care about. Give it to them together, or ask a grown-up to help deliver it.

Your picture can remind someone that they are loved and thought about.

From our Kindness Activities: Make a smile note.

  2. Day 2

    Little Helping Hands

Ask a grown-up which little job would help today. Work together to pair socks, put toys away or carry napkins to the table.

A little helping hand can make a busy day feel easier.

From our Kindness Activities: Be the helper of the hour.

  3. Day 3

    Words That Warm

Practice a kind sentence with someone in your family. Try “Thank you for helping” or “I like playing with you.” Then share your words with the person you mean them for.

Kind words help someone feel noticed and appreciated.

From our Kindness Activities: Practice kind words at the mirror.

  4. Day 4

    Make Room for a Friend

Choose a game with a sibling or friend. Invite them to join, ask what they would like to play and take turns together. A grown-up can help you find a fair way to share.

An invitation and a shared turn can help someone feel included.

From our Kindness Activities: Make kindness part of play.

  5. Day 5

    A Tiny Kindness Hunt

With a grown-up, look for one thing you can put away and one small way to help someone. Choose a safe job and do it side by side.

Noticing what needs a little care can bring a happy surprise to someone’s day.

From our Kindness Activities: Build a kindness scavenger hunt.

  6. Day 6

    Better Together

Choose a parent, grandparent, sibling or friend as your kindness buddy. Pick one little task, such as tidying a play space or watering a plant. Each choose a part and help each other finish.

Working together helps your buddy feel supported and makes a little job more fun.

From our Kindness Activities: Choose a kindness buddy.

  7. Day 7

    A Caring Goodnight

At bedtime or around the table, ask someone in your family, “Who was kind to you today?” Listen to their answer, then share a kind moment of your own.

Listening shows someone that their day and their feelings matter to you.

From our Kindness Activities: End the day with one caring question.
